Are you average? It may be an advantage if you ask scientists. They have discovered some facial features that most people find particularly attractive.
What do you find attractive about another person’s appearance? You probably can’t answer that yourself, but scientists have found out.
In one experiment, they asked subjects to rate the appearance of different faces. Some of the faces were of real people. Others were computer generated ie. researchers were able to manipulate the distance between the eyes or the symmetry of the face.
The results show that most people find certain appearance characteristics attractive.
