They are so small and cute as they sit outside our windows, but behind the sweet surface lurks vicious monsters who rape, eat brains and have intercourse with corpses. Here comes the truth about the cute little birds.

Uncanny behavior: Black thrushes eat other birds of the same species

  • Species: black thrush (Turdus merula)
  • Wingspan: 34-38 cm.

Blackbirds have often been seen feeding other birds of the same species, including young and their competitors. However, it is believed that this behavior is rather rare, but it is often noticed following a drought when the birds’ main food, earthworms, is not available.

The serial killer: Flotmaids prefer brains
  • Species: Great tit (Parus major)
  • Wingspan: 22-25 cm.

Titmouse sometimes attack and kill other birds and bats. They use their strong beak to cut a hole in the opponent’s skull and then eat the brain out of it. Flotids have also been seen feeding on human corpses.

Dislikes: Gray sparrows attack in groups

  • Species: Gray Sparrow (Passer domesticus)
  • Wingspan: 21-25 cm.

French researchers observed four gray sparrows kill a bird of the same species in 2013. The four perpetrators, three males and one female, took turns attacking the victim until it finally gave up. Similar behavior had been observed before and is probably caused by a lack of food.

The Violent Maniac: The Glowing Maniac attacks everything and everyone

  • Species: Erithacus rubecula
  • Wingspan: 20-22 cm.

Puffins remain largely territorial and will often attack other birds of the same species, as well as other species, stuffed birds or even their own reflection. The attacks can become very violent and sometimes end in the death of the other bird.

Sexually Deviant : Crows have intercourse with corpses
  • Species: Crow (Corvus)
  • Wingspan: 93-104 cm.

In one experiment conducted on American crows in 2018, it was found that these supposedly intelligent birds sometimes have intercourse with dead birds of the same species. In one case, a monogamous pair of birds feasted on a dead bird and then devoured it.

Rogue: Hides from predators
  • Species: Pica pica
  • Wingspan: 52-60 cm.

The skóri does not care about predators and the birds often group together and attack dogs, cats, birds of prey or snakes without warning. The goal is then to scare the enemy away so that the offspring of the shadow do not pose a threat.

Rapists: Ducks gang rape
  • Species: Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos)
  • Wingspan: 81-98 cm.

Brutal gang rapes are very common among many species of ducks. Due to these harsh practices, the female birds have developed the ability to block the male birds’ genitalia so that the males cannot inseminate them.
